We at the Orangeburg church of Christ are pleased to have Brother Mel Futrell joining us to preach a series of lesson in our Fall 2016 Gospel Meeting, from Sept. 11-14, 2016.

Mel Futrell is a native of Pocahontas, Arkansas and has been preaching the gospel for the past thirty four years.  He is currently in his eighteenth year as the preacher for the Shades Mountain church of Christ in Birmingham, Alabama. A 1982 graduate of Harding University, Mel and his wife, Shayna, have three daughters, Halle, McKenna, and Conner.  He has worked with congregations in Arkansas, Missouri, South Carolina, and Alabama.  In addition to his local work, Mel conducts numerous gospel meetings each year, primarily in the southeast.
Here is the second lesson from that meeting, preached during the 11a.m. Worship hour on Sunday 9/11.  The title for the lesson: “The Princple of Together.”
Please join us with an open mind and an open Bible as we study together with Brother Futrell.
