– Though this study doesn’t cover very many verses, it was still a blessing to gather together with God’s people and study Scripture. In this lesson we study those Judaizing teachers who attempted to force Gentiles to keep the Law of Moses in order to be saved. Then, we begin to think about some in the world today who sadly still live in the same spirit as those false teachers from the first century.

Times of Difficulty – 2 Timothy 3:1-9 (7/25/21 p.m. sermon)
– Paul warns Timothy of certain challenges to be faced by Christians in the last days. Understanding that the “last days” refer to the entire Messianic age, these were challenges which were already being faced by Christians in Paul’s day. These challenges involved not only wickedness and opposition of those outside the church, but from some inside as well.

Jesus and the Thirsty (7/25/21 Bible Class)
– Our study this morning from John 4 focuses on several examples Jesus gives us in his conversation with the Samaritan woman. From using the seemingly mundane to teach spiritual truth, to breaking down social and racial barriers to evangelize, there is much we can learn from our Savior in this chapter.

Deceivers and the Deceived – 2 Peter 2 (7/18/21 p.m. sermon)

Called to Do the Right Thing – Esther 4:12-17 (7/18/21 a.m. sermon)
– The story of Esther is familiar to many, and has great value to teach us today. As we look at several passages from the book this morning, we will notice several occasions where Mordecai and Esther chose to do the right thing, even when it may not have been the easiest choice to make.
