– In the middle of preaching at Solomon’s Portico (Acts 3), Peter and John were arrested by the Sanhedrin. Being arrested changed nothing for them, as they continued preaching the gospel, even to the Jewish leaders. Unable to charge the apostles with anything, the council commanded them to stop preaching, a threat that wouldn’t have the desired effect.
